Meet the Team
Jennifer Strohl is a designer, dog lover, and Ohio native. Her passion for people and dedication for design have brought her across the country from southern California to Florida.
Jennifer began her journey selling high-end furniture and then transitioned into selling new homes. From there, she worked with a multi-builder design center in San Diego. It was here Jennifer discovered her love for interior design and inspired her to go back to school where she received her design degree.
Jennifer joined the Gilbert Design Build team in May 2014 as a Sales Design Consultant, where she is responsible for walking clients through the entire remodeling process.
Her favorite part of the job is working with people to turn “something that they just can’t live with anymore into something beautiful…it’s so worth it to make your personal space a place you really feel comfortable in, are proud of and want to be in.”
Jennifer recently joined the Sarasota Sailing Squadron in hopes of learning how to sail. She loves kayaking, biking, going to the beach and walking her dog, Spencer.

A native New Yorker, Sondra moved to Los Angeles where she attended Santa Monica College and UCLA. She has traveled the world extensively, living in Shanghai for 7 years, receiving two design degrees. Working in China as a designer, she was tasked with transforming Asian-style kitchens to meet the needs and expectations of the western lifestyle.
After returning to the States she furthered her education by attending the New York Institute of Art and Design where she obtained her interior design certification.
Outside of design, she enjoys spending time with her children, living the Florida lifestyle, traveling, live music, and scouring through thrift stores for hidden gems.
